Brna is a wonderful cove on the southern side of Korcula Island and a hamlet located in the cove. The cove is divided into two parts; peninsula Mali Zaglav and the eastern part with a little harbour and a hamlet. This whole area is known mostly for wines Pošip and Rukatac, and originally Brna was built as a dock for transporting wine to the nearby Smokvice and other Adriatic harbours and further. Today this settlement lives strictly of tourism and offers diverse hotel and apartment accommodation. Istruga cove is located in the proximity of the settlement and offers sport and recreational possibilities and is also a popular gathering point of the inhabitants of this small village where apart from swimming they can socialize and enjoy recreation. It is an ideal place for family vacationing.
